Outdoor installation
Our installations feature in Paolo Sorrentino’s film “Loro”.
The idea behind the project is to bring a wave of light up from the sea, along the stairs and towards the entrance. The stairs are illuminated through glass incorporating a bespoke silk-woven fabric and metallic elements, creating a dialogue with both natural and artificial light. Individually addressable LEDs provide focused lighting for each element, with colour and timing control to recreate the movement of waves. The installation also includes a marine-themed glass bas-relief made using mixed engraving techniques and fitted with a bespoke lighting system.
