GLASS ART DESIGN
We are a studio based in Pisa, designing and creating works primarily in glass.
We work with clients around the world, collaborating with shipyards, private residences, interior designers, architects and art galleries.
Every work takes shape entirely within our studio: from the initial idea and sketches on paper to scale preparatory cartoons and the finished piece.
At every stage, we seek a balance between material, colour and the spaces that will become home to our work.
Our main techniques include glass painting with kiln-fired enamels and grisaille, bas-relief using mixed engraving techniques, kiln casting, verre églomisé and gilding with gold leaf.
Firmly convinced that difference is a quality to pursue with determination, we combine our techniques with one another and with other materials, draw inspiration from other crafts and actively explore the possibilities of new lighting technologies.
Like our techniques, our designs are constantly evolving and drawing on new influences.
The result is a body of works developed in relation to the design, scale and space they will inhabit.
Our work grows out of this ongoing dialogue: between different materials, and between craftsmanship and experimentation.
