Browsing and security

Delivering the website involves processing technical data, such as IP address, request date and time, requested pages, browser information and server responses. These data are used to deliver pages, operate the service and prevent abuse or security incidents. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in making the website available and protecting it, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Email and telephone enquiries

If you contact the studio, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details and enquiry, to reply and handle any request for a quotation or collaboration. Providing information is optional, but a contact address is needed for us to reply. Pre-contractual enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR; other correspondence is handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We do not use these contact details for automated advertising.

Cookies, statistics and external services

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse views of pages, artworks and projects and clicks on contact links. It receives pseudonymous browser identifiers, technical device information, pages viewed and traffic sources. Connecting communicates your IP address to Google to handle requests. We do not send names, contact details, message contents or User-ID, and do not use session recordings or advertising pixels. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the tag. The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, withdrawable through Privacy preferences in the footer.

Consent is optional: the website remains accessible on refusal. Your choice, including refusal, is stored for up to 180 days in a first-party technical cookie. Analytics cookies are configured to expire within 180 days, without renewal on every visit. The property retains user-level and event-level data for 2 months without resetting on new activity; aggregated reports follow separate rules. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Fonts, photographs and directly hosted videos are served with the pages. The YouTube video stays blocked until an explicit click to load it. Links to Instagram and other websites open independent services; no Instagram widgets load automatically.

Recipients and technical services

Data may be processed by authorised studio personnel and the providers needed for website hosting, email and technical support. Providers acting on behalf of the controller must be governed by agreements compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR, where applicable. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where required by law. They are not sold to third parties.

Retention

Correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any subsequent relationship. Records relating to contracts, tax obligations or disputes are retained for the periods required by law or needed to protect legal rights. Technical browsing data are retained as necessary for service delivery, troubleshooting and security; operational log management also depends on the hosting provider. You may request information on the criteria applied by contacting the controller.

Your rights

Where provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw your external-content choices without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Send requests to info@turellistudio.it.
