Mixed-technique bas-reliefs

Our glass bas-reliefs are created as true sculptures, combining techniques to achieve the desired result. Grinding, engraving, sandblasting, acid etching, kiln casting, and carving with hammer and chisel are layered without a fixed formula: everything adapts to the design and the effect we seek. Starting from drawings, we develop the final design and bring it to life; the entire process takes place within our studio, from beginning to end. Often, the bas-relief is only the beginning: its three-dimensional surface becomes the starting point for casting, painting or verre églomisé with gold leaf.
